Member & Guest Check-In Policy Updates

We are implementing a new Member check-in procedure starting Friday, November 1st. We understand this may be a change for those accustomed to verbal check-ins, but this policy aims to safeguard the privacy and security of all members, guests, and staff.

Member Check-In: Members must now scan their digital member card (a unique QR code linked to each member’s profile) upon entry or present a valid photo ID.  All members, including primary members, spouses, children, and nannies—must use their digital membership card, which requires a photo attached to their profile for verification of identity. For families entering together, one member can scan their QR code for a group check-in, provided all member photos are attached.

Finding Your Digital Member Card (QR Code): Open the Griffin Club Los Angeles app and tap the “Member Cards” icon located at the bottom of the home page to view your QR code for entry. If you don’t see this option, go to Menu and scroll down. To display your member card on the app home page, return to the home screen and click the pencil icon to select up to three items to showcase on your dashboard. Tip: Take a screenshot of your member card and save it in your photo favorites. This way, you can easily access your QR code for quick and convenient entry when you arrive at the club.

Uploading a Photo to Your Member Profile: If your profile lacks a photo, you can easily upload one through the Griffin Club Los Angeles app or at https://members.griffinclubla.com/

  • APP
    • Once logged in, select “My Profile” to view the primary member’s information
    • Click the edit button to upload your photo
    • To update dependent information, click “Dependents.”
  • WEBSITE MEMBER PORTAL
    • Select “My Account,”
    • Select “My Profile,”
    • Select “View Profile.”
    • Click the edit button to upload your photo.

Accessing Your Member Account: You can access your account by logging into the Member Portal at http://members.griffinclubla.com/or by downloading the Griffin Club Los Angeles app on your mobile phone. Here, you can manage your Member profile, make dining reservations, book courts, view your statements, check F&B quarterly minimum status, register for club events, book Kid Korner, update your address, and manage profile photos.

Resetting Your Password: Your username is your member number, unique for each person on your membership. For example, the primary account holder is 1234, the spouse is 1234S, the oldest child is 1234-C1, and the second child is 1234-C2. It’s necessary to include the dash and letters when logging in or resetting each password. To reset your password:

  • Click “Forgot Password” and follow the instructions
  • This will send a temporary login link to your email on file, which is time sensitive.
  • If you experience issues logging in with the temporary password, try accessing via the website first, then try the app.

Data Security: Your personal information and photos are safe. All data is fully encrypted, including member images. We employ multiple firewalls and Cloudflare to prevent unauthorized access, ensuring that personal details and club financial records are well protected.

Guest Check-In: Guests must check in, show a valid ID, and sign a guest agreement each time they come to visit the club. If you expect a guest to visit frequently, we can take their photo and keep it on file to streamline future check-ins.
